We opened today’s grammar lab with a quick activity using the interactive whiteboard. Students were adept at identifying whether something was in the active or passive voice which was great because this is a topic I am less confident in. The less explaining the better! The partner work we did with the students went well, but we could still improve in how we ask people to share their answers. We often ask them to share but do not enforce the way we want them to share. Our timing today was a little off and we went 10 minutes over time with our closing activity, but that isn’t too big of a deal as they are not rushing off to another class.
