Better to have more planned than less planned! Although we did not have any students show up in the conversation club, it was nice for those of us who were there to go through the activities with Hilda and see them from the role of student and teacher. Hilda’s activities are good for all levels, which is important here as many lower level students will be attending. The goal is to get people to talk and so I think that the large variety of topics and activity types will ensure that students will find something that helps them to engage. When we have to host the club, I would like to ensure that people from different countries and levels are interacting with each other a bit so that they can learn from their differences. I will also strive to ensure the topic is interesting for everyone so that they will want to contribute to the conversation.
